A modern retail park with a gross leasable area of over 14,000 m² is set to be developed in Olkusz, at Sławkowska Street. The investment is being delivered by BOIG Consulting and BiG Shopping Centers, with Adamietz acting as the general contractor. The project will include two buildings – one dedicated to retail and the other to food and beverage – with around 25 units in total. The anchor tenant will be a 4,700 m² Kaufland supermarket. "The opening of a Kaufland store in Olkusz is an important step towards improving retail accessibility for residents. New brands and a broader product range will allow customers to better match their shopping experience to individual preferences," said Wojciech Cieślak, CEO of BOIG Consulting. The retail park's location – right next to National Road 94 and in close proximity to the historic town center – ensures easy access for both local residents and visitors from neighboring areas. The development will incorporate modern and environmentally friendly solutions, including intelligent energy management systems, the use of renewable energy sources, and EV charging stations in the parking area. The opening of BIG Olkusz is scheduled for October 2026. The investment is expected to boost the region's retail offer, create new jobs, and support the growth of the local economy.
