Budimex and Deme will carry out 1st stage of Baltic Hub

DCT Gdańsk has entrusted the consortium of Budimex and Deme with the general contractorship of terminal T3 at Port of Gdańsk. The 36-ha container storage platform is to be built by mid-2024. The 2nd stage of the Baltic Hub project, the value of which has been estimated at 450 million euro (2.1 billion PLN), is going to entail the construction of a quay wall with the length of 717 meters and depth of 17.5 meters. The works will begin early next year and will be finalized in the 2nd quarter of 2025. ■
