The city of Białystok announced that Budimex offered the lowest bid, 37.5 million PLN gross, in a tender concerning the 2nd stage of construction of the Siberian Gulag Memorial Museum (Muzeum Pamięci Sybiru) on Węglowa Street in Białystok. The other bidders in the tender were: Fadbet (38.8 million PLN), Erekta Budownictwo
(39.4 million PLN), Unibep (39.9 million PLN), Mostostal Warszawa (41.4 million PLN), Anatex (44.8 million PLN) and Strabag (48.1 million PLN). The enterprise, designed by Biuro Architektoniczne Arkon Jan Kabac, is going to entail the construction of a complex with a usable area of 5,500 sqm (3,100 sqm obtained by redeveloping an existing warehouse, and 2,400 sqm in a new building). The order, on which the investor is planning to spend approx. 45 million PLN, is to be carried out by November 25, 2019. Let us recall that the consortium of Coprosa Polska and Construcciones y Promociones Coprosa is responsible for carrying out the shell structure of the complex. ■
