
The Central Transport Hub (CPK – Centralny Port Komunikacyjny) announced that the consortium of Dar Al-Handasah Consultants and Perkins&Will has offered the lowest price (541.8 million PLN gross) in the tender procedure, concerning the choice of "general architecture designer" for the Central Transport Hub in Stanisławowo in Baranów commune (Mazowieckie Province). The chosen entity will develop the concept, and later detailed documentation, and conduct supervision during the construction of a passenger terminal, transfer hub for public transport, and train station. Let us recall that the planned transport hub, integrating air, road, and railway transport, is going to be located on approx. 3,000 hectares of land; it will include the construction, by 2027, of the Solidarity Airport, which, in the first stage, would process 45 million passengers. The order is to be carried out over the period of 66 months (5.5 years). The other bidders in the procedure are: Foster + Partners and Buro Happold (724 million PLN), Zaha Hadid and WSP (980.2 million PLN), Vidal y Asociados Estudio de Arquitectura, Weston Williamson and GMP architekten (1.05 billion PLN), and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (1.12 billion PLN). ■
