Dedeco winner of architectural contest

Dedeco has won contest for project of UAM dormitory for 400 beds in Poznań. Dedeco has won the tender procedure for the project of a dormitory of the UAM Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, planned on the premises of the Morasko campus. The second and third prizes were awarded to Front Architects Wojciech Krawczuk and the H.J. Buszkiewicz Authorial Workshop and Law Firm. Additionally, the entry submitted by AKPB Architekci Piotr Bartosik, also from Poznań, received an honorable mention. The planned outlet is going to be 5 stories high and is going to contain 280 rooms, including 169 private rooms and 120 double occupancy rooms. There is also going to be a student club, a cafeteria, a fitness center and a two-group preschool. The cost of the investment is estimated for 48 mln PLN. ■
