Doraco and Warbud want to modernize concert complex

Doraco, Hochtief, Adamietz, Mostostal Warszawa, and Warbud have applied for admission to a restricted tender procedure (deposit of 1.5 million PLN), issued by the Sinfonia Varsovia orchestra, concerning the contractorship of part A of the concert complex on Grochowska Street in Warsaw-Praga Południe. The enterprise is to entail the construction of buildings with a total area of approx. 5,800 sqm, including modernization and repurposing of three buildings of the former Institute of Veterinary Medicine, entered into the register of historic monuments, as well as construction of an underground technology facility, and a part of structure of building F. The works are to be finalized within 24 months. Let us recall that in November 2010, we reported that Atelier Thomas Pucher won a contest for designing the investment. The local partners are Grupa 5 Architekci and Buro Happold. ■
