Echo and Vastint are interested in purchasing land for construction of multi-functional complex

Three entities – Echo Investment, Vastint and the SWPS University – have signed letters of intent with the Garbary company, concerning the potential purchase of the so-called Stara Rzeźnia (Old Abattoir) property, located in the area of Garbary, Grochowe Łąki and Północna streets in Poznań. The buyer of the approx. 5.5-ha property should be chosen by the end of this year. Let us recall that in August 2014 we informed about Garbary's plans for the construction of a residential-office complex and a shopping-service center with a cultural section on this property, based on a concept prepared by Jerzy Gurawski from the ARPA Architektoniczna Pracownia Autorska workshop. During the search for investors for the enterprise, the cost of which was estimated at 120 million euro, the Garbary company was advised by Knight Frank. The previous version of the development concept for the lots was prepared by the ADS workshop, who planned the construction of buildings with a total area of 80,000-100,000 sqm. ■
