Granaria Development Gdańsk has entrusted Mąka Sojka Architekci with the design of the second (final) stage of a multi-functional complex on Spichrzów Island in Gdańsk, in the area of Stągiewna and Chmielna streets. This stage of the enterprise is going to entail the construction of approx. 500 flats, a hotel, office space, a retail-service section and approx. 700 parking spaces. The works should commence in early 2019 and are going to take until October 2022. Let us recall that in June 2016, we reported that UBM had become the partner for the construction of a four-star Holiday Inn hotel with 240 rooms. The architectural design was entrusted to RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky. We also wrote about the investors entrusting Studio Architektoniczne Kwadrat with a contract concerning the development of documentation for a block of tenement houses with a total usable area of 7,000 sqm, with 100 apartments planned.
Granaria Development Gdańsk is a company established by Immobel Poland and Multibud, which is building a multi-functional complex worth approx. 400 million PLN in a public-private partnership system. The architectural concept of the development of approx. 1.7 ha of land has been prepared by RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky. ■
