In Warsaw, "Green-Up. Łukasiewicz's Lamp" will be built

FAAB Architecture Office Białobrzeski and Figurski have developed the concept for a new office building, which will serve as the headquarters for the Łukasiewicz-Itech Institute and the Łukasiewicz Center. The building, located at 87 Żelazna Street in Warsaw, will have nine above-ground floors and four underground levels, with a total usable area of 6,300 m². The project, named "Green-Up. Łukasiewicz's Lamp," will be a modern and environmentally friendly facility that introduces greenery into the urban space. Inspired by Milan's Bosco Verticale, the building will feature a vertical garden and facade park, which will form the basis for a long-term research project. With sensors and machine learning technology, data will be collected to optimize the microclimate around the building, ultimately creating a self-correcting bionic system.
