JEMS Architekci has won a contest, issued by Capital Park, concerning the development of a 1.3-hectare property located on Sienna Grobla Street in Gdańsk, on a peninsula at the intersection of Martwa Wisła and Motława rivers (so-called Polski Hak). The other participants were Medusa Group, Bernatek Architekci, and KD Kozikowski Design. According to the winning concept, the investment will entail the construction of four 8-story buildings with approx. 300 flats, with additional shopping-service functions on the ground floor.
A few days ago, the developer finalized the nearly one-and-a-half-year long process of obtaining permits for the purchase of the land and has signed a preliminary agreement concerning the purchase of Projekt I, a company owned by Eco-Classic, which owns the property. The investor is planning to begin the construction works in early 2024. ■
