Karmar has been chosen as the general contractor of the 2nd stage of the Monopolis office-service complex, which Virako is building in the area of Wydawnicza and Kopcińskiego streets in Łódź. This stage of the enterprise, which will be carried out by the 3rd quarter of 2021, is going to entail the construction of buildings M3 and M4, with a total lease area of over 8,600 sqm (office space) and 700 sqm (service premises), with an additional underground parking garage for 100 vehicles. Let us recall that in February 2018, we reported that Budimex was the contractor of the first stage, Uni-form was responsible for investor's supervision, and commercialization was handled by JLL. Virako purchased the property of the former Łódzkie Zakłady Przemysłu Spirytusowego "Polmos" (Polish Spirits Monopoly branch) for over 9.4 million PLN at a debt collector's auction. Architectural design has been developed by Grupa 5 Architekci and Jerzy Lutomski's architectural workshop. According to the design, the enterprise will entail putting to use 29,000 sqm of service and office space. ■
