Kozień Architekci is going to design Pomeranian Philharmonic

Kozień Architekci has won an architectural contest, concerning the development of concept for the modernization and extension of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic on 6 Szwalbego Street in Bydgoszcz. The works, based on a functional design developed by Manufaktura Technologiczna, concern a building with usable area of approx. 9,800 sqm (12,100 sqm net) and a cubature of 86,000 meters³. The value of the investment, which will be carried out on the basis of the winning concept, has been estimated at 210 million PLN gross. Three 1st class honorable mentions have also been awarded to KD Kozikowski Design, PIW-PAW Architekci, and Flanagan Lawrence. ■
