Mirbud begins construction of Widzew Aquapark in Łódź for over PLN 101 million

Construction has started in Łódź on the Widzew Aquapark, delivered under a public-private partnership model. This is the first project of such scale in this formula for Mirbud S.A. The investment is valued at more than PLN 101 million. The complex will feature three pools: a sports pool, a training pool, and a leisure pool. The building will also house a children's paddling pool, two 60-meter slides, jacuzzis, and hydro-massage seats and loungers. The recreation and leisure area will be complemented by two Finnish saunas, a steam sauna, and an infrared sauna. The project also includes an Active Senior Center, a café, a playground, a pumptrack, and a parking area. For 20 years, the City of Łódź will pay the company a quarterly availability fee covering the costs of design, construction, and facility maintenance. Completion of the investment is scheduled for the end of 2027.
