Mostostal Warszawa will build Voco hotel in Katowice for 130.3 million PLN

Mostostal Warszawa has signed a contract with Wojewódzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Turystycznych (Provincial Tourist Services Enterprise), concerning modernization of Hotel Katowice, located on 9 Korfantego Street in Katowice. Let us recall that the goal of the investment is to adapt the building to the standards of the VOCO brand, owned by the Inter Continental Hotels Group, and to the requirements for four-star hotels. The works will be carried out in a 12-story building, which will include 167 rooms, a restaurant section, conference rooms, and a fitness area with a gym. The role of the substitute investor has been entrusted to the Warsaw based company ZBM, and design has been developed by architect Anna Federowicz-Tomaszewska from Pracownia Architektury i Urbanistyki FBT. The value of the works has been established at 130.3 million PLN gross; they are scheduled to be completed by June 26 2024. ■
