Mosty Łódź and Balzola will build sports complex in Mielec

The Municipal Sports and Recreation Center (MOSiR) in Mielec (Podkarpackie Province) has chosen the offer submitted by Mosty Łódź and Construcciones y Promociones Balzola, with a price of 136.6 million PLN gross, concerning the general contracting of a sports complex in the area of Solskiego and Kusocińskiego streets. The enterprise, designed by the Architekt Radosław Guzowski workshop, is going to entail development of a property with an area of approx. 2.2 ha, which is going to be used for the construction of a sports hall with a usable area of 17,900 sqm and a cubature of 142,400 meters³, including a team sports arena (meeting the requirements of international and national sports federations) with 3,500 seats, a swimming pool (with water surface of approx. 1,000 sqm), and a parking lot with approx. 250 parking spaces. The investment is to take 28 months. The second bidder in the tender was Warbud, which offered a price of 139 million PLN. ■
