PKB commences redevelopment of shopping center

Pracownia Projektowa ARK has developed guidelines for the redevelopment of the "Galeria Rumia" shopping center on Sobieskiego Street in Rumia (Pomorskie Province). The enterprise, which we initially mentioned last year in October, is going to entail modernization of a building with an area of approx. 40,000 sqm (lease area of nearly 17,000 sqm). The works are being carried out by PKB Inwest Budowa, one of the shareholders of the new owner of the complex, the GT Company. Let us recall that, together with Master Development Poland, the company has taken over the center from DNB Assets Holdco. The investment will include the construction of a new façade and renovation of the interiors; the plans also include new visual identity and adaptation of the space for the tenants, replacing the lighting systems, escalators, and elevators. IMV Polska has been entrusted with managing the center, and commercialization is being handled by BOIG The Blue Ocean Investment Group. ■
