Ramboll is going to design heat and power plant in Siechnice

PGE Energia Ciepło has chosen the offer (2.1 million PLN gross) submitted by Ramboll Polska concerning the development of designs for an investment named "Czechnia New Heat and Power Plant" (Nowa Elektrociepłownia Czechnica). A combined cycle gas and steam unit with a thermal capacity of approx. 320 MW, with peak load- and reserve boiler facility and thermal energy storage, is going to be built in Siechnice near Wrocław. The plant is to be opened in 2023. The other bidders were: ILF Consulting (2.2 million PLN) and Bilfinger Tebodin Poland (2.8 million PLN). ■
