Rembor General will expand by 12,000 sqm Volkswagen factory in Poznań

Rembor General has acquired an order from Volkswagen Poland for the general contracting on the expansion of a plant in the area of Warszawska, Leśna and Smołdzinowska streets in Poznań-Antoninek. The investment is going to consist of the construction of a hall with an area of over 12,000 sqm, according to a design by PM Group. Construction works are scheduled to take until the end of this year, and production is scheduled to open in 2020.
Volkswagen is planning to spend approx. 200 mln euro on increasing the size of the factory in Poznań. According to the assumptions, outlets with a total cubature of over 650,000 meters3 are going to be built in connection with plans for the production of a new model, named VW Caddy 5. ■
