Strabag will extend airport in Świdnik

Strabag signed a contract with Port Lotniczy Lublin company (Lublin Airport), concerning the redevelopment of the airport in Świdnik (Lubelskie Province). The value of the contract, which should be carried out by March 2019, has been established at 10.6 million PLN net. The enterprise will entail the extension of the passenger terminal and the airport surfaces, construction of a new hall with departures waiting area, security checkpoint, technical facilities, and shops. The investment will lead to increasing the size of the airport by nearly 2,200 sqm.
Let us recall that in February 2014 we informed about Port Lotniczy Lublin's plans concerning the construction of a cargo terminal at the Świdnik airport in a public-private partnership system. ■
