Strabag will extend KAN production complex

Strabag is commencing works, concerning extension and modernization of a production complex on Karpińskiego Street in Białystok for KAN company. Let us recall that in PREM 1024, we reported that at the end of March, the investor obtained permission for an enterprise, which will entail the extension of the existing plant with an area of 18,000 sqm up to 28,000 sqm (cubature of 318,000 meters³). Design works were carried out in collaboration with Meteor Architects (Bogdan Pszonak). Meanwhile, last year in June, we reported that KAN obtained a decision, concerning support, from the Polish Investment Zone program (PSI), for a project worth over 130 million PLN, concerning the extension of the factory in Białystok within the Suwałki Special Economic Zone (SSSE). ■
