UM has chosen Mirbud as contractor of sports hall

The bid submitted by Mirbud (54.8 mln PLN gross) has been evaluated as the most advantageous one in the tender procedure, announced by the Medical University (UM), for the general contractorship of an exhibition-sports hall with outdoor sports fields in the area of Smorawińskiego Avenue, Chodźki Street and Hirszfelda Street in Lublin. Strabag (61.1 mln PLN), Swietelsky (62.7 mln PLN) and Budimex (68 mln PLN) are also trying to acquire the order. The outlet, with a cubature of 76,000 meters³, is going to be completed within 28 months. In November 2015, we wrote that the Buszkiewicz Architekci workshop won the architectural tender procedure for preparing the concept of the building. ■
