Unilin Insulation Polska will build a modern insulation board factory in Krasowa (Leśnica commune, Opole Voivodeship). The company has already signed a notarial deed for the purchase of a 12.3-hectare plot, and the €40 million (PLN 170 million) investment is set to begin later this year. The 25,000 m² facility is scheduled to open in 2026 and will produce 8 million m² of PIR insulation boards annually under the Utherm brand. Initially, 20 people will be employed, with the workforce expected to grow to 55. The factory will become a key Unilin hub in Central and Eastern Europe, serving Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and eastern Germany. According to the company, production in Leśnica will help improve building energy efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions. The investment was announced during a press conference in Raszowa and was made possible with support from, among others, the Katowice Special Economic Zone.
